Claymaker created a court projection piece for Florida Men's Basketball built around heat.
Project Breakdown
A hotter entrance for Gators basketball.
Problem
The piece needed to make familiar basketball imagery feel more volatile on the floor. Players, logos, matchup moments, and game action all had to land with more force inside the arena.
The projection also needed to stay true to Florida's identity while pushing the presentation into a sharper visual space.
Solution
Claymaker built the system around heat under pressure.
Deep blue held the floor while orange and red moved through the image like bursts of temperature. White arena glare cut across the composition, giving player moments and logo reveals a brighter edge.
Implementation
Rotoscoping and sharpened contrast pulled players forward so each movement landed harder on the court. A dunk became a burst around the rim. A shot release became a trail of light through dark space.
The Gators mark tunneled, fractured, stretched, and snapped back into place through broken tiles and graphic debris. Matchup moments entered with pressure and resolved cleanly at center court. The final projection gave Florida a heated floor piece with player force, brand clarity, and the feeling of a room coming alive.
